Ingredients

  • 450 grams smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 400 grams canned diced tomatoes
  • 500 milliliters chicken or vegetable broth
  • 400 grams canned white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add diced smoked sausage. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Add diced onions and minced garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in chopped thyme and cook for another minute.
  4. Add canned diced tomatoes (with their juice) and broth. Bring to a simmer.
