Ingredients

  • 500g diced turkey
  • 1 diced onion
  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 1 cup peas
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1.5 liters chicken broth
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Start by cooking 500g of diced turkey in a large pot over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add 1 diced onion, 2 chopped carrots, 1 cup of peas, and 2 minced garlic cloves; sauté for 5 minutes.
  3. Pour in 1.5 liters of chicken broth and bring to a simmer, letting it cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Meanwhile, prepare the dumplings by mixing 2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1 cup of milk in a bowl until combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of the dumpling mixture into the simmering soup and cover, cooking for an additional 15 minutes until fluffy.
  6. Add freshly chopped parsley for garnish and season with salt and pepper to taste before serving.
