Ingredients

  • 1 kg beef bones
  • 2 medium carrots, chopped
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • 3 liters water

Instructions

  1. Start by roasting beef bones in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 30 minutes to enhance their flavor.
  2. While the bones are roasting, chop the root vegetables: carrots, potatoes, and any others you prefer.
  3. In a large pot, combine the roasted bones and chopped vegetables, adding about 3 liters of water.
  4. Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat to simmer, cover the pot with a lid.
  5. Add sea salt to taste, and let the soup simmer for 2-3 hours to extract all the nutrients from the bones.
  6. Once cooked, strain the broth to remove the bones and any solids, returning the liquid to the pot.
