Ingredients

  • 500g chicken pieces
  • 200g sweet potatoes
  • 1L chicken broth
  • 100g all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  2. While the chicken cooks, peel and dice sweet potatoes into cubes.
  3. In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a simmer and add the sweet potatoes. Cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

  5. Return the pot to the heat, and stir in maple syrup, adjusting the amount to taste.
  6. Chop the fried chicken into bite-sized pieces and add it to the soup.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs for a burst of flavor.
