Ingredients

  • 400g roasted chestnuts
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 500ml vegetable broth
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 30g butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Roast the chestnuts in a preheated oven at 200°C for about 20-25 minutes until slightly browned and fragrant.
  2. Once cooled, peel the chestnuts and set aside.
