Ingredients

  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 400 grams diced tomatoes (canned or fresh)
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • 150 grams macaroni
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan cheese, for serving
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown 500 grams of ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain excess grease, then add 1 diced onion and 3 minced garlic cloves; sauté until onions are translucent.
  3. Add 400 grams of diced tomatoes (canned or fresh), 1 liter of beef broth, and 150 grams of macaroni.
  4. Stir in 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of oregano, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let simmer for 10-15 minutes or until macaroni is tender.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil leaves.
