Ingredients

  • 500 grams fresh asparagus
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 750 milliliters vegetable broth
  • 1 lemon, juiced and zested
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by washing and trimming the asparagus, cutting them into 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add chopped onion and garlic, sautéing until they become translucent.
