Ingredients

  • 1 kg veal, diced
  • 400 g canned tomatoes, diced
  • 250 ml white wine
  • 200 g pearl onions
  • 150 g baby carrots
  • 150 g zucchini, diced
  • 150 g baby potatoes, diced
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh basil, for garnish
  • Shaved cheese, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add pearl onions and sauté until golden brown.
  2. Add diced veal to the skillet and brown on all sides, ensuring it is cooked through.
  3. Pour in white wine, scraping up any bits stuck to the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add diced tomatoes and vegetable stock, stirring to combine.
  5. Include baby carrots, zucchini, and potatoes, then season with herbs, salt, and pepper.
