Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 400g crushed tomatoes
  • 300ml beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese for topping (optional)
  • Cooked rice or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown 500g of ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  2. Add 1 diced onion, 1 diced red bell pepper, and 2 diced carrots to the pot, and sauté until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in 400g of crushed tomatoes, 300ml of beef broth, and 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce.
  4. Add 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or with bread, and top with shredded cheese if desired.
