Ingredients

  • 500g beef strips
  • 200g sliced mushrooms
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • 200g sour cream
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Fresh herbs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add 500g of beef strips and cook until browned.
  3. Remove the beef and set aside.
  4. In the same pot, add 200g of sliced mushrooms and sauté until soft.
  5. Stir in 1 chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves; cook until translucent.
  6. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of flour and stir for 1 minute.
  7. Gradually pour in 1 liter of beef broth while stirring to prevent lumps.
  8. Add the browned beef back into the pot with 200g of egg noodles.
  9. Simmer for 10-12 minutes until noodles are cooked through.
  10. Lower the heat and stir in 200g of sour cream until well combined.
  11. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of paprika.
  12. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
