Ingredients

  • 400g bratwurst
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 600g potatoes, diced
  • 500ml beer (preferably lager)
  • 500ml chicken broth
  • 300g sauerkraut, drained
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add sliced bratwurst and cook until browned.
  2. Add diced onions and garlic, cooking until soft and translucent.
