Ingredients

  • 500g ground beef
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 400g cabbage, chopped
  • 1 liter beef broth
  • 400g crushed tomatoes
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Sour cream, for serving
  • Fresh dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown 500g of ground beef over medium heat, breaking it up as it cooks.
  2. Add one chopped onion and two minced garlic cloves to the pot, sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in 1 cup of cooked rice and 400g of diced cabbage until the cabbage wilts.
  4. Pour in 1 liter of beef broth and 400g of crushed tomatoes, stirring to combine.
  5. Season with salt, pepper, and 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, allowing the soup to simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed. Serve hot with a dollop of sour cream and fresh dill on top.
